02Purpose of the website

The website presents Bootes technology, namely the Bootes API and the booking platform, and is addressed to travel industry professionals. It is informational and is not an online shop. No purchases, bookings or payments take place through it.

03Use of the website

You undertake to use the website lawfully and in good faith. The following are prohibited, by way of example:

  • Any action that disrupts its operation or places a disproportionate load on its infrastructure.
  • Unauthorised access to systems, data or accounts.
  • Automated bulk extraction of content, copying or republication without permission.
  • Transmitting malicious software or misleading content.

04User age and capacity

The website is addressed to adults acting in the course of their professional activity. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that you are over 18 and that you are authorised to represent the business on whose behalf you are contacting us.

05Demo requests and quotes

The enquiry form is a request for contact, not an order. No obligation arises for either party before a written agreement.

Any quote we issue is valid for the period stated on it and is based on the information you gave us. If the requirements of the project change, the quote is revised.

06Provision of services and commercial terms

Prices, service scope, delivery timelines, service levels and payment terms are set exclusively in the written agreement signed between us. The website states no prices, and any indication of timelines is indicative only.

In the event of a conflict between these terms and the agreement, the agreement prevails.

07API access and credentials

Access to the Bootes API and to test environments is granted only under an agreement. It is personal, non transferable and may not be passed to third parties without written permission.

  • You are responsible for keeping keys and passwords confidential and for all use made with them.
  • You must notify us without delay of any suspected leak or unauthorised use.
  • Rate limits and fair use rules are described in the documentation. We reserve the right to restrict or temporarily suspend access where usage endangers the stability or security of the service.
  • Reverse engineering, decompilation and building a derivative product that competes with the service are prohibited.

08Availability and maintenance

We make every reasonable effort to keep the website and the services available and up to date, but the website itself carries no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control. Any binding availability levels are set in the agreement.

09Third party content and data

The platform connects to third party systems such as ferry operators, hotels, airlines and activity suppliers. Availability, prices, schedules and booking conditions come from those providers and change in real time.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or continuous availability of third party data and are not liable for outages or errors originating in their systems.

10Relationship with end travellers

Where a client of ours operates a booking platform built on Bootes technology, the traveller's counterparty is that client and not us. The client is responsible for its own sales terms, pricing policy, customer service, cancellations and refunds.

11Limitation of liability

Website content is provided as is, for information purposes. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where limitation is prohibited by law.

12Intellectual property

All website content, together with the source code, the architecture, the documentation, the logo, the Bootes name, the graphics, the texts and the audiovisual material, is our intellectual and industrial property or that of our licensors, and is protected by Greek and European law.

You may view and print material for personal or internal business use. Reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial exploitation without prior written permission is prohibited. Third party trademarks shown on the site belong to their owners and are used for reference only.

13User content and social media

Material you send us, such as descriptions of your needs or technical files, remains yours. You grant us the right to use it solely to assess and deliver your request. Our social media pages are additionally governed by the terms of each platform.

14Personal data

16Fraud attempts

We never ask for passwords, API keys or card details by email or phone, and we never request a change of payment bank account by message. If you receive such a request, do not reply and contact us on our official details.

17Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control, such as network or power outages, infrastructure provider failures, cyber attacks, natural disasters, strikes or acts of public authority.

18Links to third party websites

Links to partner platforms are provided for your convenience. We do not control their content or policies and accept no liability for them.
